Cleo approved, cool glasses, great experience! Had a rocky start, ordering-wise. It’s a long story, the drama was all on me, and ZanyLen customer service was absolutely professional, empathetic, kind, and very responsive. When all my drama was sorted, I placed my order for gun metal Graham with an unusually tricky progressives prescription. I received them a few days ago, and I’ve been nothing but impressed. The box is shrink-wrapped, and once unwrapped revealed a lux-feeling magnetic presentation box. It felt very high-end and bespoke! Inside, my glasses were very carefully wrapped. This is coming from China after all, and the whole thing was as thoughtfully packed as any Apple product. The glasses are perfect. My eyes fell in step with these progressive lenses immediately. The reader zone is nice and wide, the intermediate zone is intuitively placed—sometimes these zones can be unnaturally, unnecessarily narrow and difficult to navigate. The generous distance area runs all the way to the frame edge, again not always the case, which is baffling. They came with the polarized dark and night-driving magnetic clip-ons**, and I added the blue mirrored, amber gradient, and yep… the 3-D movie lenses! I haven’t been, but I’m looking forward to not having to fumble with the plastic frames at the cinema. The clips pop right into place, they’re easy to remove** (maybe too easy, see below), and they match the frames perfectly. These frames were not meant to be my main day-to-day glasses. I thought of these as my casual outdoor activity frames, but they are currently my favorite frames to wear. They’re classy looking and the titanium is both strong and flexible. The lenses are crystal-clear and intuitive. The polarized clip-ons are terrifically versatile**, and at just $15 each, considerably less expensive than the polarized lenses or Transitions treatments I’ve gotten at other glasses outlets. In addition to the luxury presentation, there’s a nice PU leather magnetic case, a microfiber cleaning cloth, and a tiny keychain with a shiny metal charm that’s actually double-ended micro-Phillips and regular screwdrivers, each under a secure screw-on end cap, two silicone ear hooks, and a pair of silicone eye pads (**see the first quibble below!) All in all, my ZanyLen Graham’s are high quality RX progressives set in an attractive high-end titanium frame for a very attractive price. If that was all they were, the ZanyLen’s are punching up way above their weight class. Add the versatility of polarized sunglasses and night drivers (included), plus the option of adding more polarized looks and features for only $15 each and ZanyLen far exceeds any expectations one might have for glasses from a company they discovered on Instagram. In fact, they’re the Holy Trifecta™ — high-quality, cool glasses at a great price from a company with responsive and kind customer service! I’ll be back. **a few quibbles 1. The nosepads that come attached are titanium stamped with the ZanyLen brand. Cool, cool. Except the SECOND sweat or oil or other facial inevitabilities appear, those titanium pads become skis sliding down Mt. Yournose! Use that nifty included screwdriver to remove them and install the silicone pads immediately. Pro Tip: the nose pad screws are the Phillips variety, but you’ll need an electron microscope to discover that fun fact. My magnifying glass was barely adequate. You’re welcome. 2. Likewise, I added small black silicone sleeves to the ends of the temple arms, as the ear guards are very smooth and the included ear hooks are a bit of cumbersome overkill for adding a tiny bit of grip. 3. The clip-ons attach quickly and securely. That said, I don’t know that they’d stay seated through activities with a lot of contact or physical jostling, like football (both real football and US football) or even very aggressive roller coasters (Cedar Point’s Steel Vengeance is notorious for robbing riders of accessories that were perfectly secure on every other ride in the park - RIP my c.2018 sunglasses). These clip-ons are more immune to downward or sideways shearing forces, but the magnets are in front of the hinges at the top of the frame and they flip up from the bottom pretty easily. I’d wear regular sports sunglasses with a distance-only Rx for sports anyway, and it’s a non-issue just walking or running so this is just a “manage expectations” kind of quibble, as in “use glasses for what they were designed for, silly.” 4. The nature of clip-ons means there’s a gap between the Rx and filter lenses. This results in a VERY FAINT reflection of my eye in most situations (indoors & outdoors). I don’t find it distracting, and it certainly doesn’t impede my vision at all. Unless I’m looking for it I just see right past it without noticing. But it’s there all the same on all five clips I have. I don’t know that there’s a real solution to defeat the physics of light here, maybe a more aggressive anti-reflective coating on the inside of the clips? But I’m dubious that would help much this close up, as that’s not what those coatings are designed for. Frankly, I don’t know that they don’t already have an aggressive anti-glare coating on the inside of the clips and this was the best result they could get. And for all that, it’s barely there so who cares. Unless you’re the kind of person who can’t let go of the idea of imperfection even when it’s irrelevant and doesn’t affect your life anyway. In that case, maybe don’t get magnetic clip-ons at all because light behaves the same regardless of brand. Also, learn to prioritize and let go of the small stuff—life’s too short! 5. These glasses are flat. Like, really straight across the brow. On most frames you can easily bend the bridge to create a gentle curvature to match your face. DO NOT DO THAT HERE. Remember, all your clips are the same exact profile and bending the bridge to even the slightest facial curve will weaken the contact between the magnets on the frame and clip. Even if you manage to bend your clips to the EXACT matching curve, the magnets then won’t align exactly on top of one another as the clips will be too short to reach around the curve. This seriously destabilizes the magnetic bond and your clips will flip off just by setting them upside down on a tabletop. NOTE: this reminder of basic geometry and science comes from embarrassingly personal experience. My frames and clips are currently all very flat and perfectly aligned once again. 6. Read the first part of my review again. These quibbles don’t collectively add up to even a single annoyance let alone rise to deal-breaker status. I only mention them for the folks who appreciate a minute to wrap their heads around even tiny limitations or details BEFORE they commit. My cat Cleo agrees—and it’s not a good idea to question Cleo’s judgment—these are great glasses!

Excellent Value and quality. My life is so much better now. I finally after 30 years have a pair of glasses I can simply attach shades on when in the car or out and about. My only improvement would be a super rigid thin pocket case that the sunglass frame can be slipped into without fear of bending/breaking when put in a trouser pocket and also has a clip that would allow them to be attached to a belt or shirt chest pocket for example.

The frames are a little taller than I'd wanted. Everything else is great. I've been wearing these for 2 weeks now and I've not seen any movement in the frames at all. I've not had to do any manual adjustments. They are lightweight and I like the gunmetal look.
