I live in the UK, and I spend about £500 every 2 years at Specsavers.
I took a leap of faith this time and bought some Varifocal glasses online.
My prescription is quite complex, I chose the frames, Calvin then the lenses, Progressive Pro. Input my prescription details.
The process is extremely easy and then the check out is also straight forward. £132 paid.
A few days later I got an email to say that I had over paid and a refund of £10 will be issued. Sure enough 2 days later £10 was back on my card. I then got a notification to say that my glasses have been dispatched.
5 days after that I was wearing them, became extremely well packaged and I had four lenses in total, the clear prescription, the yellow, the black, and also a blue pair which I wasn't expecting.
I also have to say that they are extremely comfortable and the prescription is spot on.
I am very pleased with my purchase and my skepticism was unfounded.

This is my second pair of frames with five clip-on shades from Zanylen, and I'm really happy with them! I love being able to switch shades without having to wear contact lenses or change glasses.
One tip I'd highly recommend: include your PD (pupillary distance) when placing your order. Zanylen doesn't require it, but providing your PD can help ensure your prescription lenses are as comfortable as possible. I learned this the hard way after experiencing discomfort with my first pair.
If you don't know your PD, Costco can measure it for free. However, they most likely won't be able to make prescription lenses for Zanylen frames because they generally use automated machines rather than hand-fitting lenses for this type of frame.
Overall, I'm very happy with my glasses and really appreciate the flexibility of having multiple clip-on shades!
The quality of glasses itself is superb but specifically "the sunglasses mode" is a bit weird. I don't know why but I keep on seeing the reflection of things behind me and it's very confusing for the brain. Also I'm not sure but I don't think that it's legal to drive with these glasses on, they are very dark for driving. The yellow glasses mode is great though.
By far the best eyeglasses I bought. This is worth every penny. Better than local optometrist. Thankful I've stumbled upon this brand. Highly recommend it quality overall 10 out of 10.

Absolutely brilliant! I used to have photo chromatic lenses, which worked fine during a normal day, but were a pain when using my camera. Now I can slip the sunglasses on and off whenever I want, which is especially handy during light sensitive days.
